Dickens Christmas Weekend

The holiday season is always exciting here at the Rosewood! Our wonderful old inn seems to have been made for decorating. Each year we look forward to our "Spirit of Christmas" presentation, as thousands of twinkling lights and the aroma of gingerbread get us in the mood for the festive season ahead. Our weekend begins on Friday evening with a get-acquainted hors d'oeuvre party.
After a hearty breakfast on Saturday, you'll be ready for a brisk day of Christmas shopping, or cutting down your own tree at one of the local farms. Saturday evening will be festive as we enjoy a holiday buffet dinner. After dinner, as we sit by the fire, we will be entertained by  professional storyteller  Rebecca Rule www.mooseofhumor.com, with tales of Christmases past. Package includes two nights accommodations, hearty country breakfasts, holiday buffet dinner, and storyteller. New Year's Eve Getaway
Dec 30 & 31st. Imagine the perfect romantic getaway...no noisemakers or silly hats, just a quiet evening with friends. Package includes luxurious accommodations, candlelight & crystal breakfasts, an hors d'oeuvre buffet from 6-7:30 pm on New Year's Eve, dinner on your own at one of the local restaurants, and a chilled bottle of French champagne awaiting your return for that private midnight celebration....

Moonlight Snow Shoe Weekend      Jan 18-20
Just listen to the silence...the forest is holding its breath. Fresh snow lies deep in the New Hampshire mountains, challenging you to strap on your snow shoes and go out into the moonlight. with our mountain-wise guide to lead us, we're ready for some winter fun, knowing there's a cozy fire to return to at evening's end. Weekend includes two night accommodations, hearty country breakfasts, Saturday evening hors d'oeuvres, and a fireside supper. Guided tour and dinner package is an additional $39 pp above room rate.


Scandanavian Fest           Jan 25-27
Start your weekend on Friday evening with Swedish Glogg and Swedish hors d'oeuvres called Smorsbrod. After a hearty country breakfast, spend Saturday cross-country skiing on miles of woodland trails and fields. Return to the Inn to enjoy just baked, hot crusty bread, salad, cheese fondue and dessert by a cozy fire. Then soak your tired muscles in the inn's hot tub under the stars. The Scandinavian Fest Package takes place January 25 to 27, 2008. This package includes two nights' lodging, a hearty country breakfast each morning, Friday evening hors d'oeuvres, and Saturday fondue supper. The cost is $39 per person above the room rate. Tax and gratuity are not included.

Early Winter Trail Rides
Come enjoy an early winter trail ride on the beautiful back country roads and woodsy trails at a small family owned West Meadow Stables, just a short walk from the Inn. Our scenic trail rides allow you to see and enjoy nature close up. Package includes two nights accommodations, hearty country breakfasts, and  trail ride.

(Trail rides are suited for those with some previous riding experience) $75 per person over
